Leeds United want to sign Rangers winger Ryan Kent in time for the new Premier League season kicking off on 12 September.

Marcelo Bielsa, manager of the Elland Road club, is a long-term admirer of the player and tried to sign him twice while Kent was at Liverpool.

Leeds, who are back in the top flight after a 16-year absence, would have to stump up upwards of £10 million to persuade Rangers to sell the popular wideman.

The Ibrox club paid £7m to sign Kent from Liverpool last summer after he impressed on loan for Rangers during the 2018-19 season when he was voted PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.

Rangers may look to sell having recently spent a combined total of £7m on strikers Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten.
