In the top-flight Celtic went down to Ross County who lifted themselves off the bottom of the table to increase the excitement in the relegation battle, while Rangers took another step towards the title.

The Championship saw Hearts drop points for the second week running.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon believes a big rebuild is required at Celtic in the summer. The Northern Irishman has backed himself to be the man to do it having “done it before”. Lennon was answering the questions in an interview with the BBC when he ended the interview after he was asked again by reporter Rob MacLean about the rebuild. (BBC)

Rangers are ‘red-hot favourites' to sign Oostende striker Fashion Sakala on a free deal in the summer. The Zambian international has impressed in the Belgian top-flight this campaign, attracting the attention of clubs around Europe as well as Asia. The prospect of Champions League football, however, could play a huge part in convincing Sakala to move to Ibrox. (Scottish Sun)

The Scottish FA have apologised to both Hamilton Accies and Hibs after a linesman was used for Saturday’s encounter when he should have been self-isolating. Graeme Stewart was part of a Scottish officiating team which oversaw a Panathinaikos v Olympiakos game with one testing positive for coronavirus. Bobby Madden was pulled from refereeing Celtic’s clash with Ross County. (Evening News)

Neil Lennon has apologised to Celtic fans for letting "them down again”. The Parkhead side were defeated by bottom-of-the-league Ross County on Sunday evening. It's a result which leaves them 18 points behind rivals Celitc. Lennon said: "It's a strange one, I think it kinds of encapsulates our season. We've dominated the game and we've missed some unbelievable chances.” (Various)

Rangers face the prospect of going to Celtic Park for the next derby encounter as champions. The Ibrox side need seven more points to clinch the title. If they defeat Livingston and St Mirren and Celtic fail to beat either Aberdeen or Dundee United they will do so. Livingston boss David Martindale has revealed Rangers "pied” him as a teenager. He had been set to join the club on a YTS scheme but the Ibrox side “pulled the plug” after they found out he broke his leg playing against a pub team in West Lothian. (Daily Record)

Former Rangers and Kilmarnock star Kris Boyd has questioned whether big clubs will be keen on Odsonne Edouard due to a lack of consistency this season. The Frenchman has netted 20 goals in 33 appearances since August. Boyd said: “There’s no doubting his ability, but it took until January, February time for him to turn up. A lot of the top teams would look at it and question that.” (Sky Sports)
