How the Rangers players rated in 3-0 win over St Mirren that puts them on the brink of SPFL Premiership title crown

Rangers players did their job against St Mirren with a 3-0 win taking them to within a point of being named Scottish champions.

Goals were spread across the front line with Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos giving the home side the lead at half-time before Ianis Hagi’s strike 26 seconds after the restart made absolutely certain of a comfortable Saturday afternoon ahead of a 20-hour wait with all focus on Tannadice tomorrow.

Rangers could be crowned SPFL Premiership winners on Sunday afternoon if Celtic fail to win against Dundee United - and fans kicked off the title celebrations early when they converged on the Stadium to welcome the players and management to the ground earlier in the day. Videos have emerged of club officials being escorted through the throng and into the ground at the Broomloan Road end ahead of the match.

Among them was Steven Gerrard who watched the match from the stand but, with Michael Beale and Gary McAllister taking charge of technical area duties, here is how his players performed.
