Joe Aribo gave Rangers the lead after 20 minutes with a fine drive after Ofir Marciano had scooped a Kemar Roofe header off the line. Rangers kept the pressure up and Nathan Patterson’s ball back into the danger area was knocked around by Roofe and Morelos before being hammered home by the Nigerian.
Rangers had already had the ball in the net by that stage though Roofe was flagged offside close in.
Hibs had their own chances at the other end and both Jackson Irvine and Kevin Nisbet fired drives wide of Allan McGregor’s goal and Paul Hanlon headed wide.
Aribo’s goal proved to be the only goal of the first but it was outdone in the second by an excellent finish from Ryan Kent – which the winger had threatened early on.
He took the ball away from Irvine and Alex Gogic before a drive found the inside of Marciano's netting.
Allan McGregor denied Gogic, Nisbet and Boyle in three top saves around the 70th minute mark and though the Scotland striker eventually headed past him, Rangers’ unbeaten run continues.

. Allan McGregor - 7
Not happy with defence for the chances given up in the first half, and kept all on their toes throughout. Big save to deny Boyle on 70 minutes, then Nisbet's free-kick moments later and brave at Hanlon's header. Beaten by Nisbet with 12 to go. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group

. Nathan Patterson - 7
Possibly the penultimate game for the right-back, depending on SFA disciplinary appeal, but had his sternest test yet domestically against Josh Doig. A good shift which got better in the second period and he attacked more and more. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group

3. Borna Barisic - 5
Took an hour to get up to speed with the game, though quick enough to deal with Martin Boyle's early pace. Tightened up with Filip Helander in the second half after shaky moments in the first but difficult afternoon against the Australian and Kevin Nisbet Photo: SNS Group

Kept very busy by Kevin Nisbet and fortunate the striker did not convert just before half-time. Space between Swede and Barisic was frequent route for Hibs but Swede improved in second half to usual solid, dependable levels. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
