There are so many facets of how football is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic that are fascinating. Many leagues want to finish the current season on the field, others like Scotland, want to terminate the campaign, as has been done with the lower leagues. There is then the prospect of behind closed door games and the knock-on effect for next season.
In addition, the upcoming transfer window will be unlike any other. Budgets are likely to be tighter than they have been in a long time, especially in Scottish football with gate receipts such a key revenue driver.

1. Hagi deal not close
Ianis Hagi is not close to completing a permanent move to Rangers. The Ibrox club have an option to bring the Romanian international to the club permanently once his loan from Genk expires. 2. Hibs chief warns of meteor
Hibs chief Leeann Dempster has warned a meteor is heading towards Scottish football. It follows the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon suggesting it will be difficult for football to even return behind closed doors anytime soon. 3. Livi's reconstruction proposals
Livingston have proposed a 14-10-10-10 league system which would see the current play-off system removed with two teams getting promoted to and relegated from each division.
