Rangers midfielder Steven Davis' picture perfect performance against Kilmarnock praised by pundits
The Northern Irish man-of-the-match was on imperious form controlling the game as Steven Gerrard’s side extended their unbeaten league campaign to 29 matches with a winning goal scored by midfield partner Ryan Jack.
And Rangers TV pundits Neil McCann and Alex Rae hailed the performance of the 36-year-old veteran who McCann believes stays one step ahead of the game by visualising match scenarios as they play out infront of him.

"He was so important in the game and Rangers winning in terms of his management of the game.”
Former team-mate and Ibrox co-commentator Kevin Thomson lauded the midfielder as a ‘Rolls Royce’ while naming Davis the man of the match and McCann joked: “If there’s a Valentine’s card dropping through the letterbox tomorrow it's probably from Kevin Thomson. He was loving it in commentary!
"It was so complimentary and I can't help but be the same.
“He simplifies the game. Good players slow the game down, even when it can be a bit frantic. He sees the game at a different pace because he has already taken a picture before he’s received the ball so he can make things look very simple at times.”
