Rangers kit supplier Castore 'agree deal' with Mike Ashley's Newcastle United

According to a report by Sportcal.com, the sportswear brand have agreed a deal with Newcastle United.

It is a move which may raise eyebrows amongst Rangers fans due to the club’s former shareholder Mike Ashley owning the Premier League team.

Ashley’s time involved with the Ibrox club is not remembered well after lengthy court battles over the club’s stock.

Rangers become Castore’s first venture into supplying football kits this season and have recently released a new retro top which appears to have gone down well with fans.

The firm are reported to be taking over Puma as Newcastle United’s supplier.

Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard has revealed he could be without two key players for Sunday’s Premiership clash with Kilmarnock.

Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Jack both picked up knocks in the 1-0 win over Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday.
