Rangers have managed to withstand interest from some of Britain's biggest clubs to agree a contract with defender Leon King, according to the Daily Record.
The highly-rated 16-year-old has agreed terms on a two-year contract that will make him one of the highest paid youngsters in the club's history.
Both Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Tottenahm Hotspur were all reportedly looking to sign the Scottish talent to his first professional contract, but it seems Rangers have succeeded in keeping him in Glasgow.
The centre-back initially rebuffed an offer from the Ibrox side but is said to have agreed to a deal after a one-to-one meeting with manager Steven Gerrard.
King has yet to make his Rangers debut but he has been included in previous matchday squads.
