Zungu was forced to sit out Sunday’s 4-0 Premiership win over Aberdeen at Ibrox after returning to Glasgow from taking part in two games for South Africa against Sierra Leone.
The 28-year-old, on a season-long loan from French club Amiens with a view to a permanent move to Rangers next summer, made an impressive debut as a half-time substitute in the 8-0 rout of Hamilton Accies just before the international break.
