Bayer Leverkusen crushed Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 to fire a warning to Rangers ahead of this week's Europa League clash at Ibrox.
The win moved Leverkusen up into fourth, back among the Champions League places.
Nineteen-year-old Brazilian Paulinho, making his first league start of 2020, was the star of the show.
Paulinho scored two goals, including one after a superb dribble from midfield, and set up Karim Bellarabi for another after creating space in Frankfurt's box.
Kai Havertz scored one and set up Paulinho's second in another good performance for the young German, who was subdued in the first half of the season but has six goals and seven assists in all competitions since the winter break.
Leverkusen take on Rangers in Glasgow on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League last-16.
