Rangers have lodged an appeal against the yellow card referee John Beaton handed Alfredo Morelos during Wednesday's win at Livingston.

The striker was booked as he went down in the box despite Livi keeper Max Stryjek appearing to clip his heel.

The incident sparked a furious response from Rangers boss Steven Gerrard who was sent to the stands after marching onto the pitch to confront Beaton at half-time.
