How the Rangers players rated in 3-2 Europa League win over Standard Liege
Rangers made hard work of the first half but completed the task with a 3-2 win and progression in the Europa League.
Standard Liege had their hosts on the back foot from the start and took an early lead after a ball from the Rangers right was turned in at the front post.
Connor Goldson redeemed himself with an excellent free header to level, but Liege hit back immediately before James Tavernier fired in from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time to send the teams in level.
Rangers were much improved in the second half and Scott Arfield, whose goal against Galatasaray sent Rangers into the groups, sent them into the knock-out stages by converting Ryan Kent’s cut-back for a 3-2 win.

Set a new European club record with his appearance and left exposed with little chance for the goals. Opposite number had a more flamboyant evening.

3. Borna Barisic - 7
Should have been sharper for Liege's first - incredibley unlucky not to score a second free-kick this week denied by a stunning save.

4. Connor Goldson - 6
Great header for Rangers' first equaliser, and left exposed for the first and then at fault for Liege's second. Not his most comfortable evening but scored with aplomb and Rangers wouldn't look the same without him.
