Price tag set for Rangers target predicted to become £30k-a-week star

The forward, who is the older brother of Celtic starlet Karamoko Dembele, is wanted by a number of English Championship clubs. And the Posh have already rejected bids, according to the Scotsman’s sister title the Peterborough Telegraph.
No team has met the League One club’s £3million value, a sharp rise from the £200,000 they paid for the 24-year-old in 2018 when they signed him from Grimsby Town.

Hide AdDembele, who was with both Dundee United and Ayr United as a teenager, has been in fine form this campaign, scoring six goals in 23 appearances, and handed in a transfer request earlier this month.
However, he has been advised by the club’s co-owner Darragh MacAnthony to bide his time until the summer when he could land a big-money move, following in the footsteps of Ivan Toney.
The club’s former striker joined Brentford having been linked to both Celtic and Rangers.
MacAnthony said: "He wants to play higher which is fair enough, but I doubt it will happen in January so the best thing for Siriki to do is stay here, play out of his skin for the rest of the season and then I will help him get a move if he still wants it.
If he carries on playing like he has in the last couple of matches he could pick up a salary of £20k-£30k a week just as Ivan Toney did last year.
“There is no money about at the moment, but there could be in the summer.”
