After a nightmare start Rangers ran into a comfortable lead but let it slip late on but take away a point from the group’s top seeded side. But it could have been three.

@TheMeatball4: “Match report. Played excellent, bottled big chances and Helander with a horror show. One point that feels like a defeat.”

@1872Rck: “Was a cracking game. Benfica are a good side and showed that to grab a draw. We shoulda killed that game stone dead though - four or five. Guilty of missing too many very good chances. But both teams should qualify for the last 32 on that showing.”

Walter Mccracken: “Need to learn.”

@RangersDaft55: “It just stinks of Young Boys away. Not knowing how to see out games. Hope it's just a one off and doesn't happen domestically.”

Stephen McIntosh: “Shot ourselves in the foot big time there. Still, well on course to qualify for the next round - somebody from Scotland needs to do well - also good practice for the Champions League next season.”

@BigRangersBear: “Livid. Game should've been over and done. Still taking too many touches in their box and Helander had an off night. Never thought I'd be gutted at a 3-3 draw away to Benfica but here I am, gutted. Two points dropped.”

@cameronamcg: “Tonight feels a defeat, grim.”

@caxmawford: “Helander was shocking give him a shake.”

@ChrisMilIington: “Should have got some more fresh legs on in the last 20. Fresh legs in their team swung the game in the end.

@mcewan1986: “Had they not had a man sent off we were getting pumped, a draw is a brilliant result regardless of being 3-1 up.”

@bigdougdblo7: “Almost like they ran out of ideas and just wanted the final whistle with 20 to go - 11 v 11 rangers were poor and didn’t think Aribo was doing that well but when he went off they just lost all rhythm - may have been different if Hagi had went on instead.”

@bg724: “It’s going to be some game at Ibrox , Benfica going forward are very dangerous, I would settle for a draw.”

Ross Ogilvie: “Would have bit your hand off for that pre match.”

Chris Ritchie: “Few seasons ago we were leaving Easter Road devastated because Raith beat us in the Ramsdens cup final. Tonight we’re devastated because we drew against Benfica in Europe. Yes it’s definitely two points dropped. Regardless how the game played out tonight just think about where we are this season. We’re top of the league and top of our group in Europe. It’s hard straight after the game but think of the bigger picture. This is a Rangers team to be proud of and it says a lot on how far we have come as a club the fact we’re gutted not beating one of the best teams in Europe away from home.”
