RANGERS have unveiled their new home kit for the 2015/16 season, ahead of their weekend clash with Dumbarton.

Continuing the partnership with Puma and betting firm 32Red, the kit is predominantly royal blue, with a red V-neck collar and white shoulder panels.

The club has said that the new strip features a ‘series of technical innovations to improve player performance’.

Among these are ventilation under the arms and the ‘formstripe’ on the sleeves to remove the need for a shoulder seam thus allowing greater movement.

The white shorts feature a prominent royal blue stripe down the side while the traditional black socks with red tops are worn with the strip.

A striking goalkeeper shirt has also been unveiled.

Predominantly white, it features bold red and black panels on the shoulders and upper body with red panels on the sleeves.

Reaction from fans on social media was mainly positive.

@DWL90 said: “Like the new Rangers strip. Should have had the keeper top as an away strip though,” while @93graeme added: “The new Rangers strip is smart, much nicer than this season’s.”
