Rangers administration: Scarves appeal

MORE than 5,000 red and black scarves have been sold in a couple of days by Rangers fans who wanted to help the club.

All profits go back into the club via buying tickets for children, schools and other groups. Red and black are the colours not just of the traditional Rangers socks but also of the ancient burgh of Govan. Organiser Stuart Maclean said: “The Red and Black campaign has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams – we’ve got some late nights ahead packing and posting the orders but it’s worth it if we get Ibrox filled for the last few games of the season and help the club.”
