Rangers administration: Dorin Goian fretting over his future

RANGERS defender Dorin Goian has admitted he has no idea whether he has a future at Ibrox.

Goian is in his native Romania preparing for an international friendly against Uruguay.

The former Palermo player has been left stunned by Rangers entering administration, but doesn’t want to quit Scotland for the sake of his family. Goian said: “To be honest, I do not know what the situation is with Rangers. Many decisions have to be taken in the near future, so I have no idea what to think just now. As for my future, that is unclear.

“I don’t want to return to Romanian football yet and I don’t want to sign for a club in China, like my brother Lucian. The reason I want to stay in Glasgow is because I have two young children and it would be very difficult to move the entire family twice in the one year. It’s a worrying situation for me.”
