Ibrox boss Mark Warburton is understood to be close to sealing season-long loan deals for midfielder Oduwa and versatile defender/defensive midfielder Ball.

The 19-year-old Oduwa is yet to make a first-team appearance for Spurs but made 11 appearances for Luton last season, while Ball, 20, also played 11 matches for Cambridge United.

However, a third target, Harry Winks, will not be playing his football north of the Border this season after being informed that he will have a part to play in Tottenham’s first-team squad.

The 19-year-old midfielder was reportedly on Warburton’s radar but the England Under-19 international - who signed a new contract last month, keeping him at Spurs until 2018 - looks set to stay at White Hart Lane.
