Century for Carlos Bocanegra

RANGERS defender Carlos Bocanegra will win his 100th cap for the USA this week.

he centre back played for America as they lost 1-0 in Paris to France on Friday. And the 32-year-old will reach his century milestone in Ljubljana on Tuesday when Jurgen Klinsmann’s side face Slovenia.

Klinsmann said: “It’s a remarkable achievement for Carlos. He is still in great shape and he will certainly be adding plenty more caps after this too.”

Bocanegra has been in excellent form for the SPL champions since his summer move from St Etienne.
