The Ibrox club sit at the top of the table with a 100 per cent record and 18 goals from four games so far.

Mohsni is well aware that some teams will pose problems with their staunch defensive displays, but he says Rangers have the quality to overcome every other side in the division. He said: “I hope we can win every game, although it will be difficult.

“The last game I saw, it was hard to play against the team because they just defend and they just come to have a clean sheet or a draw.

“We have some good players. We must concentrate in every game and I think we can beat every team. We have to win the league and we have had some good results. Now, we just have to keep going.”

Rangers initially struggled to adapt to Scottish football’s bottom tier last season, especially away from home, but have been more assured in their performances so far this term.

Mohsni added: “We are better than this league. We have some good players and we have a good chance to get back into the Premier League.”

The French-Tunisian agreed a two-year deal with Rangers in July but a transfer embargo meant he was unable to register until the ban was lifted at the weekend.

Other new signings who had played their football in Scotland last year were able to feature in some matches as trialists.

But, other than friendlies, Mohsni has had to bide his time on the sidelines so far. He said: “It was very hard. I think it’s been my hardest pre-season out of every season. “I’m looking forward to playing, I’ve been waiting for three or four weeks now.

“We had a (practice) game yesterday so it was good to have 90 minutes for the legs.

“It will be amazing to play in a proper league game especially if the stadium is full.”

Mohsni impressed in a friendly against Newcastle and could make his competitive debut when Arbroath come calling in the league on 14 September.

However, he acknowledges he may have to prove to manager Ally McCoist he deserves to be thrown straight into a winning side. Speaking at the launch of Rangers’ away kit, he said: “It’s hard to get into a team when the team does well. It’s the manager’s choice so we will see.

“I will have to prove in the training that I’m better than the other centre-backs. I like to attack and I try to score some goals but my priority is to defend.

“I think we have some good strikers so we don’t need me up front.”
