Bafana Bafana were playing the island nation, population 210,000, for the second time in three days and were once again triumphant by two goals, this time winning 4-2.

Zungu, who joined Rangers in October on loan from French club Amiens, was influential in both victories. After netting a 90th-minute clincher in Friday’s 2-0 win, he started again in the centre of the park and caught the attention of the supporters, many of whom hailed him as their star player in Monday’s victory.

@SMBa_SA observed: “Zungu is one player that has grown immensely. He becomes better every year.”

As @BabaloPablo1 added: “Bongani "Ben 10" Zungu is the best Midfielder we have so far.”

However, he wasn’t able to please everybody. Though the vast majority praised his performance in the win, there were still a couple of detractors.

@MR_MONARENG_MD wrote: “Nah these players are not taking their chances, worse Zungu is busy playing fancy football that we don’t need at all.”

While @Mivo2425 added: “Not a great performance overall but we will take the win, we needed it. A very clean performance from Tyson. Mshishi was impressive. Dean always gives his all. Still need to see more from Percy and Zungu.”
