How the Rangers players rated after 2-0 Scottish Cup victory over Celtic
Rangers have ended Celtic’s period of domination in the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 victory over their Old Firm rivals at Ibrox.
An impressive overhead kick from Steven Davis and an own goal from Jonjoe Kenny in the first-half were enough for Steven Gerrard’s men to advance to the next round, where they’ll meet St Johnstone in a home tie.
Celtic had their opportunities in the second period, including missing a late penalty, but they couldn’t get themselves back into the contest. The result ends their run of four successive Scottish Cup final triumphs.
