How the Rangers players rated in come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Motherwell

Ratings out of ten for every Rangers player after Steven Gerrard’s men fought back to claim all three points against Motherwell

The Ibrox side were made to work for their victory on Saturday afternoon as they moved 16 points ahead of rivals Celtic in the title race, albeit with Neil Lennon’s side holding three games in hand.

The visitors took an early lead when Callum Lang slid home a low Stephen O’Donnell cross to the back post in the sixth minute.

It wouldn’t be until the 73rd minute that Rangers managed to find the equaliser with Kemar Roofe finishing after a cutback from Ryan Kent.

From there the home side were able to fully wear down Motherwell’s resistance with Cedric Itten coming off the bench to put Rangers ahead on 82 minutes, finishing from a James Tavernier corner.

It was then left to Roofe to put the icing on the result, firing in from close range after being set up by Joe Aribo.
