"Go become champions", 'Give Goldson and Barisic a rest for Thursday': Rangers fans react to team line-up vs St Mirren

Team line-ups are usually announced around 1.45pm but Steven Gerrard’s selection for the match with St Mirren was curiously delayed until 1.55pm – with the team on the verge of clinching the club’s 55th league triumph.

Fans had converged on Edmiston Drive to welcome the players and management to Ibrox for the crunch and others reacted to the team announcement online.

@Chris_W_889: “Pump fists - let's give the fans the performance they deserve today. C'mon Rangers
