The main headlines surround Celtic once more, their exit from the Betfred Cup to Ross County and the subsequent fan protests outside Parkhead as supporters chanted to Neil Lennon to leave, but in a less polite way. It was the shock of the last-16 and increases the pressure on the under-fire manager again.
It appeared Hearts’ defeat to Alloa Athletic on Saturday would be the big shock from the competition but with the Scottish champions finally losing a domestic cup match for what feels like the first time in 40 years it opens up the competition.

1. Helander and one other Rangers player test positive for Covid
Rangers will be without defender Filip Helander for the important Europa League clash with Standard Liege on Thursday after returning a positive Covid-19 test. He is one of three Rangers players unavailable to Steven Gerrard due to the coronavirus with Nathan Patterson self-isolating after international duty with Scotland U21s and a third unnamed player also testing positive. 2. Celtic condemn fans
Celtic hit out at fans in a statement after protests at Parkhead left players shaken with missiles thrown at the underperforming stars. 3. Police officers injured, cameraman threatened
Two police officers were injured during the protests outside Parkhead after Celtic were defeated by Ross County. Barriers and fences were taken down by supporters and even used as missiles. 4. Gerrard praise for Dickson
Steven Gerrard showered teenage debutant Ciaran Dickson with praise after an impressive 35 minute showing in the 4-0 Betfred Cup win over Falkirk, even making a comparison to himself when breaking through at Liverpool. He said: “He played with energy, personality and character. He’s the type who will never let me down.
