All four SPFL leagues are in action this weekend with the split starting in the Scottish Premiership.

The action got underway on Friday night with Hearts thumping Alloa 6-0 in the Championship as they move closer to the title.

There are some key matches this afternoon, such as Kilmarnock and Ross County in the top-flight and Brechin City and Albion Rovers in League Two.

Michael Stewart has urged Hibs to tie Kevin Nisbet and Ryan Porteous to new deals like they did with Martin Boyle. Stewart reckons a cash injection from owner Ron Gordon could convince the duo to stay at the club for longer and ensure Hibs get a good fee when they leave. (Scottish Sun)

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard used Celtic and their trip to Dubai as an example of the “inconsistencies” regarding punishments for Covid-19 breaches. Gerrard has accused the Scottish FA of guesswork following the bans handed to the five Rangers players who broke guidelines. Hibs ace Josh Doig has said the interest from Premier League is “overwhelming”. The left-back-cum-wing-back has reported interest from Leicester City.
