'Balogun has shown enough to give us confidence': Rangers fans react to Steven Gerrard's team line-up in Liege

Steven Gerrard made three changes to his team.

The changes were welcomed by the Rangers support who were clearly in high spirits for the match in Belgium on the back on a very pleasing Old Firm performance and result.

Injured duo Joe Aribo and Kemar Roofe travelled with the group after a training session at Ibrox yesterday and take a place on the bench which also included youth player Leon King.

@StuartWelsh4: “Still mystified why neither Defoe or JJ in squad even allowing for restrictions. Personally JJ for Barker all day long. That said come on The Glasgow Rangers."

Some had alternative options to the manager’s selection, but few were in disagreement.@robbiejh96: “I think having Jack and Kamara works if Aribo, Hagi, Kent. Or Aribo, Arfield, Kent etc all rotate as a three. Even putting Roofe in there. Lots of options, it's nice.”@Ross90141394: “Hopefully once Zungu is up to speed it’ll be Davis and Zungu rotated, as I don’t think Kamara and Jack works as well as if Davis was beside one of them and I think Zungu swings more towards a Davis type.”
