With less than two weeks of the transfer window remaining until it SLAMS shut on Monday, 5 October, fans will be hoping to see their clubs doing some last minute business, adding players in areas where they need to strengthen, especially with managers have seen the team in action for a number of games now.
At the same time, there will likely be interest in some of the league’s stars especially from the English Championship and even top-flight, plus abroad. There will be some supporters and managers alike will be desperate to hold on to.
Scroll down and click through to see ten of the Premiership stars who could interest suitors in the final two weeks but clubs won't want to lose.
1. Lewis Ferguson - Aberdeen
Scott McKenna’s likely sale will be a huge financial boost for Aberdeen and take a lot of pressure off any other sales. Lewis Ferguson is the likely first-team star who will attract attention before the window closes. There have been signs already that him and Ross McCrorie could build a really strong, fearful and combative midfield partnership that looks good for the Dons in the long run. 2. Kristoffer Ajer - Celtic
The Norwegian centre-back and Odsonne Edouard are the two players at Parkhead who have been linked with big money moves. The noise around the Frenchman has quietened whereas there is still talk of Ajer to AC Milan. He would be a huge loss, especially with Celtic playing a back three. His ability to drive out of the defence can’t be replicated. Photo: Rob Casey - SNS Group
3. Lawrence Shankland - Dundee United
The striker showed how important he is to Dundee United’s success this season in his first start since the opening weekend when he netted against St Mirren on Saturday. The goal was outstanding, hooking a volley into the top corner. But more than that it is what he gives the team as a central focal point. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
4. Ofir Marciano - Hibs
The Israeli produced some stunning saves at the weekend against Rangers to ensure Hibs earned a draw at Easter Road. He has come up with big moments in the league already. The fear would be an enticing offer which could leave Hibs in a difficult situation with less than two weeks of the transfer window remaining. Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group
