Rangers fans fury at graffiti mocking Ibrox disaster

Rangers fans have reacted with fury after graffiti was spray-painted beside the steps outside Ibrox Stadium mocking the victims of the Ibrox disaster.

The message said “Haha 66” in reference to the 66 people that were killed in 1971 in a crush at the conclusion of an Old Firm game.

It was initially thought that a late Colin Stein goal had led to the disaster, though this version of events was later proved to be false.

Football fans have quickly condemned the twisted message which comes a week after the inquest into the Hillsborough disaster was concluded.

Rangers have yet to comment on the message as work is underway to remove it from the wall.
