One in and one out at Aberdeen

Aberdeen have signed former Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old was training with his new team-mates yesterday and could feature against Forfar in the William Hill Scottish Cup this afternoon if the paperwork is completed.

Reynolds, who has struggled to secure regular first-team football since leaving Fir Park a year ago, looks set to take Richard Foster’s place in the squad with the Dons skipper expected to sign for Bristol City.

Bristol have agreed an undisclosed fee with the Dons for Foster, reported to be £250,000, but the move is subject to personal terms and a medical.
