Nasri banned for three games by French FA

France midfielder Samir Nasri has been banned for three matches following an investigation into his behaviour during Euro 2012.

Nasri swore at a reporter following the quarter-final loss to Spain and gestured after scoring against England. Jeremy Menez of Paris St Germain also received a one-match ban from the French Football Federation for arguing with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris during the Spain match. Both players will miss next month’s friendly with Uruguay and Nasri will also sit out World Cup qualifiers against Finland and Belarus.
