Milne eyes June finish

COVE Rangers' Danny Milne believes Highland League teams will be playing summer football this year.

With a huge backlog of fixtures still to be addressed, the striker says he expects the fixture list to extend into June.

Milne, whose side beat Buckie Thistle 1-0 thanks to a Robbie Henderson goal, said: "Hopefully now spring is here, we've seen the last of the bad weather and we can start getting a run of games. But it's looking like the season will run on to June now."
