Longniddry’s long wait was worth it

Longniddry Primary School played host to Dunbar Primary in their first match in more than a decade.

Resplendent in new strips, the Longniddry players, led by team coach Scott Robertson, rose to the challenge by coming from behind to win 4-2 with a hat-trick from Lewis Robertson and further goal by Gregor Thomson.

The following Longniddry squad now look forward to facing Kings Meadow Primary, Haddington, on November 21.
