Should the Belfast side defeat their San Marino opponents in the first round, the game could kick-off on a key date in the marching calendar, with a potential security issue due to heightened sectarian tensions.

However, according to Northern Irish journalist Steven Beacom, the two clubs have already agreed that the game will not take place on 12 July.

Linfield are managed by former Rangers striker David Healy and pipped Crusaders to the title last season.
