Lewis team snaps extraordinary cup final victory shot

It has been an eventful August for Carloway Football Club who play their games on the west coast of Lewis.

by defeating rivals Lochs Football Club by four goals to two at Leurbost.

A salvage team are currently working to remove the stricken Transocean Winner rig after it ran aground close to Dalmore beach last Monday as it was being towed from Norway to Malta and its towline snapped in heavy seas.
