Kirk Broadfoot hopes to remain at Rangers

KIRK Broadfoot is desperate to reach agreement with Rangers over a new contract.

The full-back is one of six players whose deals with the debt-laden Scottish champions expires this summer. Talks between the 25-year-old Scotland international and the club had hit a brick wall but he said: "I have made it clear from day one that my preferred choice would be to stay at Rangers. Hopefully we can get something agreed."
