Killie announced six new signings and five loan deals through the course of Friday, subject to international clearance.

Clark has signed 19-year-old Newcastle defender Jamie Cobain, who spent time on loan with Sheffield United last season, while another former Blades player, Callum McFadzean, is also joining.

The 22-year-old left-winger has represented both Scotland and England at youth level, the former thanks to a Glasgow-born grandfather.

Striker Souleymane Coulibaly arrives from Peterborough. The 21-year-old was top goalscorer at the 2011 Under-17 World Cup while playing for Ivory Coast.

Also signing is 20-year-old defender Joshua Webb. The former England youth defender was a prominent member of Aston Villa’s 2013 victory in the NextGen Series.

Along with the six permanent deals, Kilmarnock have negotiated loan moves for five players.

Albanian striker Flo Bojaj and Scottish youth international defender Will Boyle come up from Clark’s former club Huddersfield.
