Quite a week off and on the field for the mighty Killie this week. The supporters’ trust comedy night went down a storm on Friday and the team played a blinder on Sunday against Hibernian.

Such a shame the club chairman wrote about how he was charging supporters groups for use of the hotel because we need every penny and, in the same paragraph, that he cancelled the Open Day Legends game which would have drawn in four times as much as the hotel fees just because he wanted a wee change.

However, on-loan striker Galan from Osasuna looked tidy, nut-megging Ian Murray with his first touch of the ball, and we have further cover arriving this week in the shape of left-footed Slovenian Leon Panikvar.

If we can maintain the standards set against Hibs then we could be in for another good season. . . well done lads.
