Juniors down to business

TONIGHT'S derby between Bathgate and Whitburn signals an influx of midweek East Juniors games, writes JOHN GILMOUR.

Bathgate are still in with a shout for the Super League title having six games in hand over leaders Bo'ness with a 20-point gap. Whitburn on the other hand are scrapping for survival sitting second bottom five points above Camelon.

Bathgate manger Graeme Love, however, is expecting a very tough game. "It's a huge game for both sides. Whitburn will be up for this game."

Blackburn, who play bottom club Livingston, are also in contention for the title and in a similar position to Broxburn, as they too chase leaders Tranent.

Elsewhere West Calder play host to Harthill, Spartans take on Dalkeith and Stoneyburn are at home to Sauchie.
