As World Cup 2026 prepares to get under way later this month, fantasy football squads across the globe are already beginning to take shape.
The world’s most prestigious football tournament is set to take place across the United States, Mexico and Canada and is the biggest tournament yet, with 48 nations set to compete for the ultimate prize.
A host of the sports’ biggest stars are available to pick in your fantasy football squad. However, with a budget of €100 million, making sure you choose the right names is paramount to the WhatsApp group bragging rights!
Have you begun to build your fantasy team and are finding it difficult to narrow down where to spend big, where to save, and who the biggest bargains are? Have a few different strikers in mind, but aren’t sure which should be your pick for the number one, two and three positions upfront?
Don’t worry, because we’ve put together a list of the key forwards to fit every budget that we think will grab you points throughout the group stage. Here are the top 10 strikers we recommend you include in your World Cup 2026 Fantasy Football squads:

1. Raul Jimenez - Mexico - 7m
This one is a bit of a no-brainer at the price. The Fulham marksman will lead the line for co-hosts Mexico at the tournament in a group that includes South Africa, South Korea and Czechia. He's scored 45 goals for his country since making his debut in 2013, and will view this tournament as a chance to solidify his legacy in Mexico. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

2. Omar Marmoush - Egypt - 7.8m
While Belgium are expected to top Group G at the tournament, it would be no surprise if Egypt ran them close, such is the attacking talent in their ranks. While many consider putting Mohamed Salah into their squad, the Manchester City forward is a cheaper and perhaps even more reliable option than the Liverpool icon. 3. Kai Havertz - Germany - 7.8m
The Arsenal hitman enters the tournament having only played the second half of the season with Arsenal due to injury, so he should be fairly fresh. Germany are expected to win their group, and Havertz could grab the goals that fire them to the knockouts against Curacao, Ivory Coast and Ecuador. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

4. Romelu Lukaku - Belgium - 7.4m
The Napoli forward may have endured a tough season in Serie A, but he remains a vital part of the Belgian national team. He's scored 11 goals at major tournaments for his country across his career, and is extremely well priced for a main striker in a team that is expected to qualify comfortably from a group that contains Egypt, Iran and New Zealand. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
