With a win tonight Scotland will seal its place in a major tournament for the first time in over 20 years.

There will be no Tartan Army in attendance at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade, but a large fraction of the country’s population will cheer on from their living rooms come kick off on Thursday night (12 November).

And the good news for the thousands tuning in is that the game will be free to view.

Serbia meanwhile are looking to qualify for their first ever European Championship.

What time is kick-off?

Proceedings get underway in Serbia at 7.45pm GMT on Thursday night.

Fellow home nation Northern Ireland will also be kicking off its winner-takes-all match at 7.45pm.

A campaign launched by the Hampden Collection and by the Scotsman will see Scotland’s biggest fixture in over a decade free-to-view.

With millions of Scots subject to strict coronavirus restrictions, Sky Sports have agreed to air the game for free.
