Serbia players set to miss Scotland's Euro 2020 qualification play-off showdown in Serie A quarantine order
Serbians plying their trade in Serie A, including captain Aleksander Kolarov, will not be permitted to join up with their national squads this week, Italian health authorities have said.
Any club showing one case of Covid-19 will be placed into quarantine and that includes at big-name clubs such as Fiorentina, Roma, Lazio and Inter Milan.

Hide AdThe week-long measure would rule all players of the clubs out of the international fixtures this week and potentially, next weekend.
Restrictions would rule out the likes of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio and Sassuolo’s Filip Duricic from linking up with Ljubiša Tumbaković’s squad for Thursday’s play-off.
Steve Clarke’s side had a coronavirus case within the national camp last month ruling Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Christie and Kieran Tierney out of crucial games – but Scotland still prevailed past Israel to qualify for Thursday night’s showdown.
He is set to be without a key man himself though as Ryan Fraser is poised to pull out of the squad with a hamstring injury.
The clubs affected are in the Italian regions of Tuscany and Lazio, ruling out Florence-based pair Nikola Milenkovic and Dusan Vlahovic, but Inter Milan and Sassuolo have also been named amongst the clubs who are affected by additional restricions from the health authorities.
And that also means Inter’s defender Milan Škriniar would also potentially miss Scotland’s Nation’s League encounter in Trnava when Steve Clarke’s side head to Slovakia for the return fixture in Trnava on Sunday.
