How the Scotland players rated in disappointing 1-1 draw in Israel
Ryan Fraser’s early second half strike cancelled out Dor Peretz’s first half opener for the home side as Steve Clarke’s side made it two points from two matches following the 2-2 draw with Austria on Thursday.
Here’s how the Scotland players rated ...

1. David Marshall - 6
Sharp reaction to deny Solomon early on but should have stopped opener from Peretz. Got two hands to strike but couldn't push it wide. Serbia hero looking suspect from long-range strikes in first 2 qualifiers. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

2. Jack Hendry - 5
Misjudged early header to set up chance for Solomon and earn ticking off from Tierney. Never looked convincing or commanding before being replaced at the break. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

3. Grant Hanley - 6
Unsteady and unsure in the first half - sitting too deep, marking empty space and inviting pressure. More comfortable second half after switch to back four but will need to be more commanding to win over Scotland doubters. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

4. Kieran Tierney - 7
Best of a bad bunch at the back in first half, improved like the rest of the team after the break. Was often in the right place at the right time when Israel attacked. Made one particularly important clearing header in the second half. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group
