Hamilton Accies postpone training after three positive Covid-19 tests

Hamilton have confirmed three of the club’s employees have tested positive for Covid-19.

Accies have postponed training for the day with the three unnamed members forced to self-isolate for 10 days.

Defender Lee Hodson had already returned a positive test and has been self-isolating with St Mirren goalkeeper and house mate Jak Alnwick having also tested positive.

The FOY Stadium, where Accies also train, will undergo a deep clean.

Hamilton confirmed the positive tests and revealed the club will return to normal as of tomorrow and further tests are planned.

Accies face Kilmarnock on Saturday following their back-to-back wins.

Brian Rice's side become the latest to suffer from positive Covid-19 tests. St Mirren were without three goalkeepers on Saturday for their 3-0 home defeat to St Mirren.
