Dundee United: Entire first-team coaching staff self-isolating after Covid-19 cases

Every member of Dundee United’s first-team coaching staff is self-isolating after three positive coronavirus tests at the club.

The Tannadice outfit reported earlier this week that three individuals had tested positive for Covid-19 with no players understood to be affected.

Saturday's Scottish Premiership match at Livingston is going ahead as planned with Thomas Courts, the club’s Academy Head of Tactical Performance Coach taking traininig on Thursday and Friday, supported by other academy staff.

A statement from United read: “Following recent positive COVID-19 tests for non-playing staff and ahead of further discussions with the Scottish FA and Tayside Health Board, we have taken the precautionary decision to ask all our first-team coaching staff to self-isolate.

"Academy Head of Tactical Performance Coach Thomas Courts and other Academy staff will guide Thursday and Friday’s training sessions.

“Pending further discussions with the Scottish FA and Tayside Health Board, we will make no further comment at this time.”
