Highland League football: Formartine want title say

ROSS Bremner believes under-achieving Formartine United can still have a major say in the title race.

Steve Paterson’s side – who earned a point in a 1-1 draw away to under-achievers Deveronvale – have started gathering momentum but are unlikely candidates for the crown after a poor start.

Goalkeeper Bremner, 32, said: “Hopefully, the second half of the season will be far better than the first. All we want to do is try to get as close as possible to the pack at the top.”
