SPL Fanzone: Hibs

‘ONLY God can judge me’ said his infamous T-shirt and perhaps there was a bit of divine intervention as Garry O’Connor somehow dodged a ban for his penalty box tumble against St Johnstone.

I can only guess that the referee was satisfied with his original decision when the case called before the SFA’s new ‘Fast Track’ panel. Whatever happened, it’s a result as far as Hibs are concerned, as the big man is clearly our most important player at the moment. After the international break, there are some huge games coming up for Hibs. Motherwell on Saturday will be a tough one, as we saw what they did to Dundee United on their last away day. The two teams have a habit of producing goals galore when they get together and this one will probably be no different. Celtic in the quarter-finals of the League Cup is on the horizon, too, so what better time to fully turn the corner and inject some promise into our season?
