SPL Fanzone: Hibernian

AFTER the midweek cup exit at home to Celtic, only the hardiest of Hibs fans made the trip through to Parkhead for the league game at the weekend and they were handsomely rewarded with a point and a much-improved display.

With Danny Galbraith, Lewis Stevenson and Sean O’Hanlon stepping in to the side that lost last Wednesday, Hibs were able to cope with everything Celtic threw at them in a hard-fought game. I thought Graham Stack and Isaiah Osbourne were superb, although it is hard to pick out individual players as it was a great team effort.

Colin Calderwood now needs to make sure the team build on this performance. They face Dunfermline and Kilmarnock at home in their next two games and they must be looking to take all six points from that favourable run of fixtures.
