SPL Fanzone: Hibernian

BY AGREEING to become our new manager late last week, Pat Fenlon has shown he is not a man to shirk a challenge.He wisely opted to watch the game against St Johnstone from the stand, which will have given him plenty to ponder.

The Hibs players demonstrated exactly how poor a side we have become.

The way this Hibs team caves in under pressure, even after going ahead, is frightening to watch. As things stand any other team in the Scottish Premier League must enter into matches against us fairly confident that they will get a result.

The departure of two first-team coaches this week hopefully signals that the new man is going to do things his way from the start. He’ll certainly have to work hard to get this sorry-looking squad playing something that looks like decent football again.

Hibs fans everywhere will be wishing him the very best of luck.
