SPL Fanzone: Hibernian

That’s two weekends in a row now that Hibs have travelled to Fife and ended up winners after falling behind to early goals.

The Fenlon factor seems to have kicked in as a team that looked devoid of spirit under Colin Calderwood are displaying a decent amount of mental toughness.

There was a much more positive vibe about the Hibernian faithful on Saturday with a support so large it seemed to catch Dunfermline by surprise as they had to open up another stand at the last minute. Leigh Griffiths found a better way to silence the boo boys than last week’s gesture to the terracing by turning in a man-of-the-match performance. It’s always good to see a known Hibs fan playing so well in the famous green shirt. We are not out of danger yet but, given the resilience shown recently by the players, the future looks just a little bit brighter.
